I was lucky enough to have a lovely flyby over Rudall River National Park earlier this year. The weather was great for shooting and the sky was quite clear which allows great fine detailing in these shots.
Established in 1977, Rudall River is a national park in Western Australia lies 1252 km northeast of Perth. It is the second largest national park in Australia at 1,283,706 hectares.
It is rich in aboriginal culture and with an abundance of wildlife. But is also one of the most remote places in the world. Access is difficult and the public visits are discouraged due to harsh conditions and the lack of any facilities.
Mining companies and Aboriginal communities are active within the park but lack facilities to host travellers.

In the great sandy desert, the shades of the sand vary with the moisture and mineral content. The water is frequently coloured by the earth.
